About Lansdowne Data

I'm a Northern Virginia native — grew up here, went to Oakton High School, and graduated from JMU. Now I live in Lansdowne with my wife and two boys. Yes, that's where the company name comes from.

For the past 14 years, I've been running operations and information systems for a transportation company. I've built everything from driver management apps to fleet integration systems to real-time analytics dashboards. I've also built workflow platforms for CPA firms, custom CRMs, client portals, and internal tools for businesses across the DC metro area.

I started Lansdowne Data because I watched the SaaS bills pile up. Per-user fees, per-seat licenses, features we didn't need bundled with features we did — it added up fast. So we started building our own tools. That's when I realized: custom software isn't just for big companies. It's often the smarter choice for small businesses too.
